COVID-19 Procedures

Kaplan Family Hearing Center cares deeply about the health and well being of our patients and their families and friends. We are dedicated to serving our guests in a safe environment. In order to uphold our standard of care during these times, in our day to day operations we are committed to the following practices:

  • We ask our guests to attend appointments alone, whenever possible, or to thoughtfully limit the amount of companions they bring with them
  • Any patient with cold or flu symptoms is asked to please reschedule their appointment
  • We have spaced out seating in the waiting areas of our building to provide for better social distancing
  • If you are uncomfortable waiting inside for your appointment, you can call us and let us know when you’ve arrived and we will let you know if the doctor is ready for you to come right in to be seen
  • Toys, literature, and magazines have been removed temporarily from the waiting areas
  • We are cleaning our seats in the waiting rooms and in the office as soon as our guests leave in order to have them ready for the next
  • We are wiping down all hard surfaces, pens, and shared items frequently
  • Any team members with flu symptoms are required to stay home and get tested for COVID-19 immediately
  • Any team members with cold symptoms have been asked to stay home until they are symptom-free
  • Any clinician in direct contact with patients will clean their hands after contact
  • Masks are required to be worn upon entering the building
